I do. One Piece at the moment but it was Deathnote before that and Elfen Lied before that. I've learned a fair few phrases. Including, "do you know who you're talking to?", "I won't", "run away" and "I'm here to kill you." All the essentials
I've also learned how to order lunch from One Piece. As long as lunch is Takoyaki.
But I have some Japanese language CD's and My Japanese Coach on the DS, those are useful too.
I've learned a few basics, how to introduce myself. It's a challenging language to memorise.

Ohhh wow that's impressive! Hehe I never got into One Piece. I don't like the animation. I read the DN manga but never saw the anime. Elfen Lied was a pretty good anime, I loved the ending.
Recently I tried watching Gantz. It was so depressing that I couldn't get all the way through it. x_x;

I never saw beyond halfway through the first season. then the site I was watching it on removed the videos. I've been meaning to buy it on DVD. The theme song alone is so moving.

I found my Brain Training game and took some training and a test.
I'm shocked, my brain age is 29! Considering 21 is the best I am amazed.
I was expecting 39, at least.

Elfen Lied on Cartoon Network? How is this possible? They'd have to cut out so much of the show that it would be reduced to 2 episodes. xD The first 7 minutes of EL contain nothing but nudity and blood splashing everywhere. ^.^

The scouse talk very fast too, i've known some guys from Liverpool area and have to constantly ask them what they just said -.- I like the accent though when it's not too harsh.

can i move in please?? i only need a small room as i wont take up much space, and it needs to be as high up as i can get, so preferably the attick, so that i can hide away in there!! (dont worry, im not noisy, i spend my days sitting staring into space) and i will be flitting in and out between here and the phsych ward :D

I've not really encountered a person who talks too fast to understand. But I have spoken too fast to be understood.
Back in 06 when I was in Romania our English speaking guides had trouble understanding our group becasue of our yorkshire dialects. Only me and my "posh" accent and the adult chaperones of the group could be understood, even so we had to talk a little slower than usual.
