I can completely relate to a number of points on this thread. I do enjoy socialising at the pub, but when it gets busy I honestly can't stand it. First I thought it was purely my reclusive nature, which could be true, but I have no difficulty when around mates just when there's loads of people I don't know, clubs are the worst.
No wait, public transport, after clubbing. Getting on the bus when the driver allows well over the legal limit, everyones drunk rowdy etc, is the most unpleasant. I've found 2-3 am the worst because that's club kick out but at the weekend it's sometimes impossible to not get a bus like that no matter what time you leave. I often meet friends after they finish work or whatever so we don't meet til maybe 9-10pm and hardly want to call it a night by midnight!
After a gig last winter at Brixton Academy I had my most unpleasant experience, despite the cold it was boiling in there and after the show finished I went with one of my friends to go get his jacket. The security organised it really badly and just let everyone loose, there was no order at all. We were all crammed in so tight there was seriously no room to move, we were all shoulder to shoulder for about 15-20 mins! It was so hot and hard to breath I literally dived outside when we finally got there!! I'm not even going to mention the odour, I'm sure you can imagine, put it this way cigarette smoke was a relief!!

Oh, mine qualifies for one I think... the line "18 year olds* are meant to hate everything, think the world's crap, self harm and question the meaning of life" showed perfectly how well we're going to get on... ugh.
*im 19. And she asked right before then referring to '18 year olds..'.
*headdesk*

I get like that too. Mine comes and goes though. Sometimes I'm fine sometimes I'm not. I hate shopping in stores on really busy days. I get all dizzy and feel almost disconnected from my body and get really anxious. Have you been dignosed with a specific type of anxiety? Such as social anxiety? I'm currently on antidepressants for Prozac but think I'm going to talk to my doctor about getting on something for my anxiety as well.

Then she closed her eyes and found relief in a knife the blood flows as she cries The deeper you cut the deeper I hurt The deeper you cut it only gets worse Then she opened her eyes and found relief through His life and put down her knives Then she opened her life and found relief through His eyes
