I am currently:
Triggering (SI) - feel kinda stupid.

Ok i was doing really good since i got out of inpatient in jan.
but i burned my foot when i was mad and i went to the doc yesterday and
its a bad 2nd degree burn and i feel really bad and stupid.
i just feel like the cutting thoughts are creeping up on me.
im scared of them cuz i dont wanna mess up again.
i feel like im tearing the relationship with my mom right in half.
im failing her..
shes all i have since my dad died.
ive tried alot of the distractions and theyre not very effective and im
just failing every time i cut.

Cutting does not suggest failing by any means. You have developed a way to survive and to cope with your thoughts which are evidently painful. Though self-harm is not and should not ever be recommended, it is keeping you going at this moment in time. What is the reason you self-harm? Often by simply stopping the self-harm itself you are not addressing the causes of the problem, just the symptoms and so you will not see tremendous improvement.

Try talking to your Mum about how you feel. It she's all you've got them you're all she's got and she will want to know how you feel and what is upsetting you. Maybe finding professional help would also be adviseable.

Please try and distract yourself when you feel like cutting, just for a momentary relief. Try and find something that releases stress a little that you enjoy doing like writing, singing, sport or suchlike. This could help keep you going temporarily.

*Cuddles you* I agree with shine, i think that you should look into or have a think at least about getting proffessional support. You are not a failure and you can do this. Some people recover quicker than others but then other people take longer to recover. Do you know what it is that made you self harm?

Do you think you could talk to us about things in a little more detail? Dont give up. Ok you burnt yourself but it doesnt mean you have failed. You can get through this. Youa re not failing your mum. Have you tried talking to your mum about how you feel and that your struggling? I'm sure she would want to know that your struggling rather than you keeping it all inside, which will only make things worse. Keep safe.
