Triggering (SI) - want my tools back.

so. a while back (lets say, 8 months) i gave one of my bestfriends my "box" which is full of everything i needed when SIing. i did this under the idea that she would be there for me when i felt like cutting.

guess what.

she wasnt. and still isnt. and before it was ok because i had my boyfriend. but i dont now. and things are different. and im starting at a new college tuesday.

long story short-i want them back. idk if im even going to use them, i just want my security blanket of having them.


any ideas on how to do this without lying and pissing her off? cause she'll be pissed if i want them back. but like, shes not helping me.

all I can think of at the moment is bringing this up with your friend?
Just tell her that what she is currently doing is not helping you at all... and also give her a few ideas on how she could help you when you are feeling the need to SI
for example... distraction techniques she can help you with, what to say/ what not to say... that kinda stuff
