It's been happening a lot recently. The pulsing isnt dramatic but i can still see things moving, sometimes it's quite scary.
I was just wondering if this happens to everyone once in a while/whether its normal. I figured it may be happening more often because im paying more attention to it.
Do you mean in your vision?
Like your surroundings look as if they are beating with a pulse?
I can imagine what that looks like but wanted to see if it's what you mean.
Stop thinking about what I want, what he wants, what your parents want. What do you want?

Yes, thats exactly what i mean.

Also are you on an medication?
Do you have an ED?
No im not on medication and I do have an ed to some extent, but I have been eating fine recently so I dont think it would be affecting it.
Have you got any headaches/ feeling dizzy or nauseus at the same time? Is it continuous or on and off? Apart from that, how are you feeling? Any difficulty doing things or concentrating because of struggling to focus on things? And I'm presuming your balance is fine?
No everything is fine. It's usually on and off. It doesn't really affect me that much but sometimes it makes me feel a bit, not on this earth, and makes me doubt my surroundings, thats the only problems it's causing.
Does it happen right after you stand up? Have you noticed anything that triggers it?
Well it breaks my heart to see you this way,
The beauty in life, where's it gone?
And somebody told me you were doing okay,
Somehow I guess they were wrong.
is your eye twitching? i keep seeing pulsing stuff for the past few days but i looked in the mirror when it was going on yesterday and it was my bottom eyelid thingy twitching
If it's happening when you stare at something it may be due to stress on your eyes. Have you had your eyes tested in the last 2yrs because if you've not that would be worthwhile (for anyone really, not just because of this).
It sounds (and I may be getting this wrong) that it's not happening too often or it is becoming less often? What I'd suggest for the moment is to write down every time it happens, an approximate time for when you're like that before it get's back to normal, what you've been doing beforehand, things like eating and drinking and activities in the day, as well as any stress or emotions you may have at those times to see if it is related as well as if you have any other problems at the same time.
If it doesn't worsen/ improves then you could wait and see a doctor in the new yr which, if you keep a diary/ log beforehand that would give you at least some amount of time to see what it may be related to. However, if it gets worse or you suddenly become faint/ pass out/ get splitting headaches then get checked out straight away.

Reason: Read through a bit and spelling/ grammar was terrible!!!
Yeah, it's not a rush to get it checked so if I were you I'd just mention it next time you see your doctor if you see them relatively often, otherwise you could book an appointment and mention it to them.
What I would also suggest is that when you next get your eyes checked just mention it to the optician and see what (s)he says about it too.
The only time I have ever had this was just before I started hallucinating...
I have also however experienced the 'eyelid twitching' thing mentioned above, which is totally different and (I think) associated with being tired.
There are, it has been said, two types of people in the world. There are those who, when presented with a glass that is exactly half full, say: 'This glass is half full'. And then there are those who say: 'This glass is half empty'.
The world belongs, however, to those who can look at the glass and say: 'What's up with this glass? Excuse me? Excuse me? This is my glass? I don't think so. My glass was full! And it was a bigger glass!
I think I get this sometimes too. Does everything seem quiet and far away? I always assumed it was derealization or something similar....
Also another thought I've had is that it could be that hallucinogen persisting disorder (or whatever it's called) you can get if you've ever taken LSD. No idea if that applies to you or not though.
"Watch me fault her "you're living like a disaster". She said "kill me faster", with strawberry gashes all over"
As I've said previously, if this is still occurring then you do need to get checked out by a doctor.
We are not here to give a diagnosis; we can't examine you, we don't know your whole medical history, we're not qualified or able to do that as it is a pretty impossible thing to do, and if we worked out what it was we couldn't give you treatment anyway so then you'd have to go to the doctor for that!
We are not here as a replacement for proffessional help from your own doctors/ nurses and so you do need to see them. There have been suggestions on here of what it could be, all of those could fit, so could many more things but without getting checked out you won't know and if you keep leaving it then it could worsen so you do need to discuss this with your doctor
