Medication Question - *mentions od* med reaction

I just started taking my meds this morning after a week of not taking them...was forced to by my parents as I'm severely depressed now.

Anyways, I think my body believes it's an overdose. I take alot of different meds so yeah. I'm terribly sick to my stomach, have pains everywhere, and have chills. All signs of an actual overdose. I know this because I actually did OD on these meds a while back. Okay, so, I need help controlling these symptoms as they're awful.

Uhm, and I've had another thought. I might've unconsciously od'd last night. I have had episodes of amnesia where I do harm myself. And they happen when I'm severely depressed as I am now. I don't know if I actually did though.

So I got a possible two problems. I don't know what to do.

I'm really concerned now. I'm getting dizzy as I sit here, which shouldn't be happening. I'm losing circulation in my hands and feet.

I'm going to go get checked out now, I think the levels are too high or I did in fact overdose last night.

ok, chances are your body will think it is an OD you are taking.
I assume when you where put on the meds you where started on loewr doses and not all at the same time, so suddenly starting them now all together at proper dosages will confusse your body.

Ideally you should talk to your doctor who can arrange a med plan, but if you cant maybe wait a day or two and then start more slowly and increase every few days.

Hi all,

Thanks for your concerns. I'm alright now, was in fact what I thought - my body thinking I had OD'd on my meds when really I hadn't. Everything is still getting sorted out, have to wait to call my psychiatrist tomorrow and we'll come up with a plan. Luckily the half-lifes are decreasing so the symptoms are easing up, though I still feel yucky.
