im not sure i can be strong tonight

im worried that i may cut tonight. i was going through my daddys things for the first time since he died and im just worried about what to do. :-'(

do i just keep everything in the closet and not do anything? or what?

i wish i could do this without crying and getting so upset. im just not strong enough.

When my grandpa died (he was like a dad to me), it took me forever before I could finally go through his stuff. I think it would be a good idea to either wait until you're feeling stronger, or ask someone who you trust to help you look through the stuff and just be there for moral support

I agree with the other posters; you should leave his things alone until you feel ready to sort them out. Having someone with you when you do though is excellent advice.
