I know what you mean i hide behind my music, recently Bob Dylan's knocking on heavens door , Jason Wades You belong to me , Sailing by Rod Stewart depends on reason why you want to cry really i guess , the eagles wasted time and pretty maids in a row , and Evanescence hello and my immortal are so touching and i don't know who sings it but if you type into you tube candle light version I'm so lonely ... :) they work sometimes helps sounds daft but try looking at yourself singing (lip singing) in the mirror and it helps you just cry :)

I'm like the OP in that I don't cry. I only have two songs that get me going every time.
Tears in Heaven - Eric Clapton, and
Into the West - Annie Lennox.
Those two are also so so good musically. Hope that helps.
