Help? (Possible trigger. Not really sure)
Every time I don't cause harm to myself and someone makes me mad, I have thoughts of actuality killing them. That I would if I had a knife in my hand, I would stab them to death. So if I don't cause harm to myself, I have to make someone else feel pain. Why is this? Is there a way I can stop these thoughts?

i think that harming yourself can numb how you are feeling when you are angry because of something to do with chemicals released in the brain. all your anger is release on yourself rather than on somebody else. i don't know if that answers your questions. I don't know if there is anyway to actually stop the thoughts but one thing that helps me when i'm angry at someone is writing a letter to them explaining why i'm so mad until i can't write anymore, then i rip up the letter until it is too small and throw it away as hard as i can. if i'm still mad i through something that won't break or damage anything at a wall until i feel better. hope this helps. message me anytime.

i agree that you should speak to someone about how you are feeling.
these thoughts can be dangerous and are frightening.

Pathetic.

I agree with the others... it is normal to feel angry at others, but not to the point where you want to kill them.
It sounds very confusing and dangerous, do you have any help right now to help you cope?
Do you feel the urge to hurt other people is strong?
Like if somebody makes you angry, you actually find yourself having to pull yourself back from hurting them?
(I'm not sure if that makes sense)
Have you tried like calming methods when you feel yourself getting angry? Like taking yourself away from the situation, and just taking a moment for yourself to breath and calm your thoughts etc...
I don't really have any advice, I'm afraid. It sound like you really need some help to explore your thoughts and feeling though. =[
Take good care of yourself, and keep talking. =]

I do feel like the urge is strong and like I do have to hold myself back. I haven't had any thought of it though lately thankfully.
For coping, I don't really have a way to cope. Just getting angry and yelling is what I do if I get upset about something
