Wound Care Question - Savlon Dry Antiseptic
I have some of this spray and I wondering if its ok to use on my wound. Its not deep at all, but is about a cm wide. On the spray can it says for minor cuts, grazes, friction burns. Would this be ok for my wound or would an antiseptic cream be better? Thanks

It is ok to use, but you will get more relief and benefit from an antiseptic cream on a dressing and changed regulalry.

the wound wash (wet spray) is better as the powder in the dry spray can clog up a deeper wound. it's better to save the dry stuff for surface wounds where it sits on the top of it providing antibacterial action as well as a temporary seal. i've used it on a cut before and it made it go gunky.
