Reading Middlemarch by George Eliot. Its a bit slow and hard to get into but im trying.
Also finished the Georgia Nicholson series, reread Twilight for the milionth time, finished Blood ties by Sophie Mackenzie i think, read Oath Breaker by Michell paver and A Certain Slant of Light by someone (i'm not sure if that's the right title but its late so never mind =) )... I have no life as you can see :) xxx
I'm another who can't wait to read 'The time travellers wife' by Audrey Neffeneger (SP) it's an old classic from what I can gather. Can't wait to see the movie either.
Current read: A million pieces by James Frey, only just started it today.
Finally just finished this afternoon Pride and Prejudice and Zombies which was a bit of a let down. I thought it would be amusing but felt far too contrived and I much prefer the original.
Now? Started on Thucydides, The Archaeology Coursebook and just looking round to see what novel to read alongside them.
"Everything is possible through Christ, who gives me strength". Phillipians 4:13
I'm currently reading 'The Shining' by Stephen King as it's one of my favourites and also reading 'Moby Dick' by Herman Melville
~ 'Paint the skyscrapers with huge totem faces and goblin tikis, and every evening what's left of mankind will retreat to empty zoos and lock itself in cages as protection against the bears and big cats and wolves that pace and watch us from outside the cage bars at night'- Chuck Palahniuk, Fight Club
~ We'll float around, hang out on clouds, then we'll come down and have a hangover... ~ Feel free to PM ^.^
the shining is amazing, the book is far superior to the film , but both are amazing
I agree! I mean, i love Kubrick's take on the story but it certainly doesn't come close to the novel. There's so much going on in the book and it's one of my favourites that i could re-read over and over
