My Twilight 'Addiction'

Hey guys.
I posted on here a while ago about a slight 'addiction' to the Twilight saga. If you read my earlier post you'll probably know that its more than a slight addiction most fans have :S
I thought I'd update that its not going very well.
I'm planning to buy more Twilight posters and the New Moon one if they have it in HMV. When I do my room will be almost covered in Twilight stuff. I've tryed to read other books but its not working, I keep coming back to Twilight. I've been finding simalaraties with myself and a Twilight Vampire more than usual. I know theres not really a lot anyone can say but yanoo.
Its gone too far past too far now but I cant seem to stop :/

I've just thought... I'm not sure but im just wondering but is there like a condition where a person has periods of addiction to things like films/books?
Cause I tend to do this a lot. Ive had periods like this with other things like.. The film 'Moulin Rouge', Then the film 'Love and Suicide' Then 'Loving Annabelle' But none of them were as bad as this... Hmmm im not sure but.. yeah

Ha me and my friend are addicted too, We are pretty sad we rate the weat6her by twilight,
If its hot its Jacob
If its cold its Edward :)

We do stupid stuff lyk tht its funny...I have a huge poster my sister bought me in my room

i <3 edward cullen books are best XD...x

I can relate. I go through periods of being intensely obsessed over things. I have to know everything about it and buy everything related to it.

me to, i was obsessed with the tribe for ages, had to see everything on the internet that was related to it and scoured the internet for collectable etc. so you arent alone! x

Yeah I guess I have a very addictive personality because I'm addicted to many things. Including Twilight. Can't wait to see how the "New Moon" movie turns out.

I'm sorry to hear you're still struggling with this, how do you parents/family react about this, specifically your room? How is this working out with your finances, are you spending more than you can afford?

I understand you are really concerned, I can hear that, but it's good you're able to speak about it. xx

Hey guys.
Im glad to hear im not alone on this whole 'addicting period' kinda thing.
And my family don't know exactly how addicted I am to Twilight. And I must say I am spending a lot of money on Twilight merch. I was going to say 'waisting money' But i dont concider it a waist cause Twilight is amazing. I even wanna play the part of Kate if Breaking Dawn. Although I know i'll never get it.

*hugs* i get obsessed with things too. like harry potter i've been obsessed with since i was 7, when i first read the books - id read them all the time, stay up all night and be tired all the time because i was reading them, etc.

Like Heretic says maybe you have an addictive personality? (Sorry hon I don't know your name!)

I guess in once sense hon this is only a problem if you feel it's negatively affecting your life. I noticed in the other thread we were all trying our damndest to talk you out of this. What would you like to change about your life at the moment? Let's start there.
