Why is the rum always gone?

I am currently:

Diagnosis? *safe*
Hey, I had a CAMHs appointment today, and my therapist/counsellor gave me and my mum some sheets on anxiety, mine mentioned OCD, but mums didn't. Anyway, she said I have OCD...so I was wondering, is that a diagnosis, or just a general comment? I'm confused :S

It depends on the opinion of a psychiatrist, you would need to be assessed by a psychiatrist to get a formal diagnosis.

i think it was more of a comment, i think diagnosis have to be made by psychartists, im not really sure

Perhaps ask at your next appointment. I'm not sure of the formal qualifications of therepists, some may be able to diagnose, some might not.
I'm glad you're getting help though hun. What did you think of the comment and the information she gave?

I think it's probably just speculation at this point, usually only doctors can formally diagnose.
|
Isn’t it funny how day by day nothing changes but when you look back, everything is different…

As the others have said it's usually only psychiatrists that can formally diagnose you with something. So right now it could just be speculation. X

Thanks, I felt okay about this comment, but was really surprised as I know CAMHs don't like to name things. The information she gave me was really good :)
I did go to my doctor before CAMHs, he made a comment that I have OCD and said if I was 16 (which I am now) he would put me on meds...
