Hiya - this is my first story, i have a bit more, just wrote it so its prob got lots of mistakes but i was feeling creative!! What ya think??

Help Wanted!
4 Hours a week – to clean and tidy a family home.

Jessie Hawks thought about it and decided that a cleaning job would be great – she could slot it in between college and the pub. She needed to save as much as she could and as fast as possible – she needed to break away and be free. See she has a plan – save as much as she can before her 18th and she was off – off wherever the wind would take her. Jessie is 17 and an only child. She lives with her Uncle Mick. Uncle Mick had scary friends, friends that would sneak up and “see” to her whenever they wanted. She hated it, more than she hated them. Sometimes there was more than one, when she pretended to be asleep they would all come and watch, she could sense it, sometimes one of them would just sit in the corner and watch her sleep. Uncle Mick would always be there when it happened, watching and not saying a word – is she struggled he would tell her to be a good girl or he’ll make it worse.

When she was at work you’d never know any thing happened behind the smile – no one ever commented on the fact that she always wore her bright red long sleeve top under the orange work shirt (even though it looked hideous), or about the bruises that would snake around her neck every so often. Sometimes she wished that one of the regulars would ask – just so she could tell someone, anyone.

It all started when she was 9, there was an accident and they all left her, her mum, dad and big brother all died – the lorry came out of nowhere and pushed them into oncoming traffic. They all died instantly – except Jessie – she broke both legs and a few ribs. The only person around was her Uncle Mick. He resented her and the fact that he was named as her guardian until she turned 18. It was while her legs were in cast, though after the funeral, when her ordeal started with him, she couldn’t run, was trapped with him all day. But it got a lot worse at night when his friends arrived.

Heres a little bit more

MONDAY MORNING

She decided that she would call. She needed too, she dialled the number and after 3 rings he answered:

“Hello, Marlon Jenkins speaking”

“Hi, I umm, saw your advert, umm and was wondering umm what area you lived in. I have not got a lot of experience in cleaning though, but I’m a naturally clean person.”

“Okay, experience isn’t essential, its only a spot of dusting – what’s your name??”

“Oh yea, sorry, it’s Jessie – Jessie Hawks”

“Hi Jessie – I live in Brentwood, it’s a big house but am willing to pay £14 p/h as it would be a lot of work in the 4 hours. There are 2 reception rooms, 3 sitting rooms, a dining room & kitchen plus 6 bedrooms and the girls playroom and my office – the latter two I don’t expect you to clean – they are nearly 9 now so should be ok sorting that themselves and no one goes into my office. When could you pop round maybe for a chat??”

“Well I live in Brentwood too, so anytime really – I’m free after college tonight – say around 5??”

“Excellent – the address is 398 Great Warley Lane, RM14 5DU. How local are you to there??”

“Freaky but I live at number 2 Great Warley Lane!!”

“Cool – pop round after college and I’ll drop you home after – if you want.”

“Ok – see you later!”

Jessie felt excited at the prospect of another job, that’s one step closer to her escape.

MONDAY EVENING

She started to feel incredibly nervous when she knocked on the door – she tried to make herself look older and presentable. When the door opened a man in his early 40s stood there smiling! He welcomed her in and put the kettle on.

After about 40 minutes of making arrangements they decided that she would start work the following week, a Tuesday morning as she didn’t have any lessons until 4. She thought about the offer of a lift home – it was a rather long walk – and decided to accept.

The journey only took about 4 minutes, she unclipped her seatbelt and went to get out of the car.

“Hey – don’t I get a thank you!”

Jessie blushed and said thanks, but he seemed a bit preoccupied when he saw her front door.

“Jessie – do you live with Mick, Mick Jones???”

Her heart skipped a beat, if he knew him, maybe he is one of them. Oh why did she think that she could escape, he could ruin it all.

“Ummm, yea he’s my uncle – why??”

“Nothing much, used to know him, I’ll see you Tuesday – I’ll be working from home.” At that he drive off with a weird smirk on his face!

In that instance her heart missed a beat – he’s be there watching her, what if he tries anything? Now she’s scared!!

hey - have nearly finished the update - shouldnt be too long now! Sorry i didnt post lastnight - Mason woke up and screamed for about 2 hours coz his teeth!! poor little man with teeth!
