Eating Disorder - Taking too many laxatives on an empty stomach?

About two hours ago I took quite alot of laxatives. My last meal was breakfast so i doubt that it is still in my body. I havent properlly "gone to toilet" yet since taking the laxatives. Im not really sure what is gonna happen when or if I do goto the toilet?

Also would if help if i told you what type of laxative? - lubricant laxatives, bulk forming laxatives, osmotic laxatives, or stimulant laxatives.

Thanks

Also I dont think the laxatives have anything to move anyway, if you know what i mean, thats why im worried this may be dangerous.

It will dehydrate you and you need to drink plenty of fluids. You can damage your kidneys and heart if it puts too much strain on your system.

i'm tired of chasing my dreams.
i'm just gonna ask where they're going,
and hook up with them later.

It can take a more than a day for food to be processed from the stomach and outputted as waste. so there is a chance there is still stuff inside you to work on. However laxatives dont allow you to lose weight just water which you would need to replace anyway to prevent dehydration. They also have a lot of side effects and long term damage can be achieved from using them. Therefore it is not a good idea to do this again.

As others have said, keep your fluid intake up.
Could you call the NHS direct number and ask for their advice? It's free and i'm pretty sure it's confidential. The website is http://www.nhsdirect.nhs.uk/ and the phone number is 0845 4647.
Any overdose can be dangerous and i'd really advise you to give them a ring or get yourself to A&E to get checked.
Take care

Quoted off the NHS direct website:

Your information is important because it helps us to provide safe and effective care. However, you can decide how much information you wish to give NHS Direct. And you can use the service anonymously if you want to.
So if you are concerned about people finding out, you do not have to give your name. I've used it before after an SI related incident and kept it confidential with no problems.

Rehydration powder... they sell it at most pharmacists. Or just ask for rehydration salts.

Imperfection is underrated.
