Books!

BOOKS! lol.
Has anyone got any recommendations on a good book? Hasn't got to be anything in particular, just want a read.
I've recently read 'the time travellors wife' and have convinced myself that you can never read a better book; so yeah; prove me wrong! (please?) :)

I just finished The Girl In The Red Coat by Roma Ligocka, it was brilliant. Equal parts heartbreaking and inspiring.

I have never read a better book than the Bible. I'm strongly atheist, but it is an excellently well written story, but also the most violent book i've ever read.

The Satanic Bible is pretty interesting too. I like how it accepts humour and sex into it's teachings, rather than rejecting them.

The Anne Rice books are awesome also =]

The Dark Tower series by Stephen King. Words cannot express how much I love that man for writing it.

Actually, anything by Stephen King.

Anything by Clive Barker, especially the Books of Blood.

And the Amory Wars by Claudio Sanchez and JTHM by Jhonen Vasquez. [Comics, but also a good read]

And Mr. Men! [Proud to be a fan since I was four, before my childhood was ruined by their re-release :( ]

Benji's Weekly Insight:
I have a Tonberry teddy called Grudge.

Jodi Piccoult's books are amazing. She is not afraid to tackle difficult subjects and does so in a sensitive but real way, they are beautifuly written.

anything by pauolo coelho will be an isightful read i would think
he has written so many books i have read every single one and loved them all, very touching
i also like colom toibin whi is an irish writer who can handle very underlying topics and andle great frustration in the parts
one book i loved was the american boy by andrew taylor which mentions edgar allen poe as a young boy but the story does not focus on him centrally, but the book is enthralling
there are many more i saw on the road an old classic and the big list at the start listed a lot of greats do not ignore have read most of them
pm me if you need advice i am obsessed with books and reading
