Input needed...
Christian Rock Vs. Rock, Define Christian Rock?
Alright, i'm on a teen radio show...
and well i'm doing a music review on christian rock;
I was looking for some input on what others think...
for instance;
is there a difference between Rock and Christian Rock?
if so, What is the difference?
What is your definition of Christian Rock?

I think Christian Rock is usually music marketed for Christians.
That may be cynical, but - I am

Well, when I first heard "Skillet" (a christian rock band) I thought they was just a rock band. It was only a little later did I find out they were in actual fact Christian Rock. On first glance, some of their lyrics could be that of just rock but if you're a Christian then you may see the inner meaning of the song.
A friend of mine isn't a Christian yet loves Skillet.
I suppose what makes the definition of Christian Rock is if the band members are of Christian religion.
Ack, rambling.

Christian Rock in general is a rock band with Christian members, singing about Christian things.
Some of them don't have all-Christian lyrics, though. Like I remember the first time I saw Blindside, I didn't know they were a Christian band until halfway through their set, and they stopped to be like, "Let's all give it up for Jesus Christ!" and I was just like, "What the hell?" cause their songs are not openly religious for the most part.
