The only way your know for sure is to take a test. If you toke it out straight after then everything should be ok. You wont definatly no until you have your period. I know this isnt much help but its the only thing you can go. Let me now how it goes or if you need to talk pm xxx
I don't know much about this - but do you have a family planning clinic near you? I think you can get tests and things from there and your doctor doesn't need to find out. I really hope things work out for you. xo
"When the planes hit the Twin Towers, as far as I know none of the phone calls from the people on board were messages of hate or revenge - they were all messages of love. If you look for it, I've got a sneaky feeling you'll find that love actually is all around.”
i have to agree. the only way you will know is to take a test or to wait until your next period. and i know from experience that doing that later can drive you insane with worry. its best to get a test done, as there is alwasy the chance that the stress you are under through worrying about it could delay your period even if you are not pregnant. maybe if you spoke to the guy bout it? if you dont want to tell him that you think you could be pregnant, then maybe just tell him you dont think you are, you just want to make sure, and see if he's willing to get you a test if you feel you cant go by yourself?
as paperdreams said, do you know if you have a family planning clinic near you? if its been less than 72 hours since you had sex then you can still use the emergency contraceptive pill, if you dont have an FPC near you then you can buy it at a pharmacy.
if you need to talk at all, im here, and know what its like to go through this. hope everything works out for you
Most people are right.....depending on your age you can visit your GP and possibly get a confidential test or a referal to someone who can give you one
If you are taking the Epilim for seizures then you need to go back on it RIGHT NOW regardless of the chance if you are pregnant or not. You should never stop medication unless you are under the care of a doctor and they are directing you to.
Legally if you are over 16 the pharmacists have no right to tell your mother anything you buy there. Might you college have a health clinic that you can go to?
How long is it until your period is due?
Well it breaks my heart to see you this way,
The beauty in life, where's it gone?
And somebody told me you were doing okay,
Somehow I guess they were wrong.
Gosh i am so sorry that you are going through so much right now. Do you have a close friend who you trust who can go to the FPC with you or to yor doctors. I wish you all the best and please do tell us how you get on.
Prayers and thoughts are with you.
Life is full of up and downs but we all can be a overtaker not a undertaker.
We all make mistakes in life. I have and I have learnt from them. NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN. TIME TO BE HONEST WITH MYSELF AND WITH THOSE WHO DO ACTUALLY LOVE ME AND CARE FOR ME.
Like others have suggested, you 1.need to go back on your meds. and 2. to stop you worrying you should take a test. I think going to a family planning clinic would be good because they can give you infomation on how to protect yourself if your going to have sex, they can also I think put you on the contreceptive pill. Like others have said, could you get a close friend to go with you? If not, Do you think you could approach your mum about it? If your legal age to have sex then she might be ok about it and glad that you came to her.
Look after yourself sweetie!
Life can be beautiful if you let it.
Step back, breathe and take it in
hey Im not sure if you will come back here to check if you have any other replies, but on the off chance you do let me give you some very important info. There are only 2-3 days during which you can concieveet pregnant, and by the sound of when your next period is due you were not in that time period so you should be ok. The time for an average persons periods is every 28 days which breaks down to being fertile around 14 days after your period if your period is longer or shorter than just divide the length between cycles by 2 and the 2 days before and after are your fertile times, ie... your period is 28 days and you had it on the 3rd of the month then you should avoid intercourse or use 2 types of contraception, condom+another form to prevent pregnancy, from the 15-19th of that particular month. if you are not in a monogamous relationship, you only sleep or have slept with each other, then you should always use a condom to prevent std's btw you can use 2 so if one breaks the other catches the sperm. I hope I helped.
then you are just fine. you are no where near ovulating, which must be occuring for you to concieve. so just take this as a learning experience and be careful. if you do not want to beme pregnant then birth control is the best way to avoid that. when used properly its success rate is 99%. There are many forms ranging from a pill you take daily, to a patch you place on your body and change every week, to a little plastic round device you insert containing hormones and change out every three weeksto shot you get every three weeks. Most of these do not affect your fertility once you using them, you can get pregnant almost immediatly after you quit using them, except the shot which could take up 2 years after you discontinue its use for you to begin ovulating again.
