just wondering, how old do you have to be to donate blood?

dunno why i'm counting lol just something i do i guess i jus count diff things lol

i think it's 18 now, i started to give blood when i was 18 i got a letter saying i can now give blood and that was the day i stated to be a donor,

and i jus found out this lady i know had to have a blood tranfusion bout 3yr's ago and will i know it's unlikely but i am have saved her life and it makes me smile and all warm inside :)

How have you given so much blood when you get piercings and tattoos? i can never give because i've either been pierced or inked too recently or im pregnant.

I have always wanted to do that, apparently i dont weigh enough. it kinda makes me angry because i know i can take it and i really want to do it.
