i need some advice PLEASE HELP...

i'm still working at my old school helping out self harmers and a young lady has just come into me who is having a hard time at the moment.

She has been in a relationship with her boyfriend for just over a year and feels like she needs a break as he puts a lot of pressure on her.
The only problem is when she tries to tell him she wants a break he threatens to kill himself or actually attempts suicide.
As you can imagine this is making her feel extremely guilty and she's worried that he will succeed and she will have to deal with this for the rest of her life.

I'm really stuck here as i think she really needs this break but feels trapped.

PLEASE HELP! xxx

She really needs to have a serious talk with this guy.
She needs to explain how she feels and how unfair what he's doing to her is.
I hope things work out <3.

That must be a really difficult situation for her. Maybe she could try getting some support for her boyfriend so that he can be helped to deal with his feelings. They could maybe see someone together? I hope that things work out alright.

I have been in a situation similar, help her to see that this is not fair - and she should tell someone about her boyfriend so he can get help.

She needs to realise that she is not responsible for his actions, and that it is wrong for him to threaten things like that. She needs to sit down and talk to him, and maybe suggest psychiatric help for what he's doing.
And if he won't listen she needs to tell someone who will do something about it and will be able to talk to hima nd sort things out
