I never met her but my thoughts are with her family and those who knew her.
Then wear the gold hat, if that will move her;
If you can bounce high, bounce for her too,
Till she cry "Lover, gold-hatted, high-bouncing lover,
I must have you!"

I remember one of her birthday's she had a party and all her family were there nd me and Maja were so scared of them we sat in her room all evening debating whether we should go and mingle or not, and Libby popped in
and out and finally managed to drag us out.

haha i remember the first (only?) time i went to her house it was just me & her.
but like half her extended family happened to be at her house that night too, and it was really awkward when i had to half-introduce myself as someone from her school.
Libby was a beautiful person and I think I, like many people here, feel blessed that she was part of our lives. I have come back to give my condolences & I know we will not forget Libby as the wonderful person she was, and will forever be.
My heart really goes out to those of you who knew & were close to Libby, I hope we can -as a community- give you the support you need now.
xx

Libby was a total joy to know. For the few months I knew and worked with her on the doc she was...well...she was a phenomenon. A crazy, infuriating, endearing, playful chaotic bundle of comedy and energy ( sometimes happy energy sometimes sad). Shocking skating skills. Open heart, honest to a fault. If you pissed her off, you'd know about it. I was watching some old footage of her just the other day. she had been showing me a skateboarding trick and it went a *bit* wrong - I lost a radio mike that day. Today, we lost so much more.
if anything is arranged in london over the next few months I would love to come along, if that's ok. Nicola
As far as i'm concerned, if you or Clayton wish to attend a meet in memory of Libby, you have every right to do so. The documentary was, for many of us, the start of getting to know her well.
A meet a month after her death, for those who feel they knew her quite well, would be a good idea. There are probably those of us who would feel that attending the funeral would be an intrusion but who need some sort of closure. Maybe a non-ryl meet, if people who are no longer members here might wish to attend.
i met her a few times at london meets but didn't really know her well.
the last couple of times she just asked me where laila was and then wandered off!
RIP libby.
I roll over and hold on tightly, and whisper "If they want you, they're gonna have to fight me,"

i remember her shouting at me a lot.
and i remember one time when i was pretty drunk (along with everyone else) & i was sitting on the floor in camden park & libby's parents came to pick her up. and i thought it would be a good idea to run up to her and hug her and generally act like a very drunk person in front of her parents at like.. 4pm.
oh.
these are things i'm never going to forget. so so many good times.

oh I know, I had to say I used to go to school with her and moved away. Such lies.

She woke me up by poking me with a broom once, then made me squeeze down between her tv stand and bed to put in the pug of her new tv, I almost choked on the dust. She also refused to open the window because of spiders hence ending up stinking of smoke if you spent a long period of time in her room!

the smoke made me throw up once.
but it was better than being eaten by a spider.
and I knocked her jesus off the wall and was really worried I'd offended her. which I probably did.
