Keep me Awake!
I gotta be somewhere at 12.30am where I shall then be paired with someone and we go out and count rough sleepers. Until about 3.30am.
But I'm soooo soooo tired! I wanna sleep! Even cat is sleepy. But I can't as I needa go out in an hour.
Poke me, slap me. prod me, anything just keep me awake!

Why are you counting them?
Though I quite like wandering round at night (though my fears make that impossible right now) but once I saw 3 urban foxes in one night, which was pretty awesome.

It is the unofficial count but it to see how many are sleeping rough and so the funding for street services are continuing.
Also by seeing them where they sleep the rough sleepers team know where to go to find people and help them.

I bet once you're out in the cold you wake up though!
Its like if my parents are ever travelling anywhere at night they open all the car windows to keep them awake. whilst I sit there and shiver.

I have a thermal base layer top and long socks hat scarf and gloves. Torch at the ready also my panic alarm.
I have just done a 3 hour shift this evening which was ... interesting (at night shelter)
Wind and rain is not my fave weather either.

i like rain..but not wind and rain! it equals coldness and horribleness! but aslong as you wrap up warmly youl be alrite. god help me im starting to sound like my mum when i was a kid!

It rained so hard! Luckily I was on the team that was searching carparks. So semi sheltered half the time. We finished eary and I was in bed at 2.30am so not all bad.
