Ooooh Irish! I love the Irish accent. Two of my mates at uni are Irish (one north, one south - had never realised there was such a difference in accents!) but I haven't picked up any Irish yet. Unless you count "what's the craic?", which I don't think counts. . . Lol!

It's something I've only ever heard Irish people say though! Even if it's not Irish language, it's an Irish colloquialism (sp?).
My brother's really into learning languages. He's teaching himself Swahili at the moment. No reason, he has no plans to go anywhere that it would be useful but he likes being able to speak loats of different languages. He can say "I am not a fish" in something like 22 languages including Klingon! He used to insult me in Klingon coz I wouldn't know what it meant. :(

It's depressing to think I've been learning it since september and I still wouldn't be able to tell you what my name is. Yet I would be able to tell you that I work at the Daily Express newspaper in London. Which I don't.

Ich kann sogar ein bisschen Deutsch sprechen, nur die Adjektiv-Deklination ist noch immer ein Problem. Morda lahko dodam še stavek ali dva v slovenščini? (<-- Slovene) Tengo preguntas, no quiero respuestas - o tal vez si. Navsezadnje, saj me nihče tukaj ne razume - ali pač? :D
