Hey
I am sorry to hear about your slip up, but try to remember it is just a slip up as long as you dont make it into a reccuring theme. Nearly everyone who stops self harming has slip ups but you have to try to ignore these slip ups and move on. I often try and think about being self harm free for x amount of time with perhaps 1 slip up etc.I often found this a useful way of thinking when i first stopping self harming.
Often with slip ups it is because you havent found a method that stops the urges every time, this is hard to find but it is possible. Would you like to talk about what triggered you to self harm again?
Also what helped me stick to not hurting myself was making myself goals(1 month, 2 months, 3 months 6 months etc) or when i get through a particulary difficult time in my life without self harming i will treat myself to something. It doesnt need to be anything big, something special for you to make yourself feel happy for achieving something great in your recovery.
SI awareness day isnt for a while yet, try not to think about it too much. Instead of doing something big what about doing something personal like wearing orange, or self harm awareness bracelets.
