Oh Heidi, I meant to ask....you know on the last one 'PM 5 members' well....is there any way we could do this in an order?Because otherwise we could end up with one member being wished happy christmas 3/4 times and some members not getting any PMs at all. Just a thought :) xx

I'm trying to think of a fair way of allocating names though, because if I did it alphabetically, then people who's usernames are at the end of the alphabet probably wouldn't get one. Hmm I need some way of randomly generating a username *ponders*
Oh I didn't realise people had usernumbers! That's a really good idea thanks. I was trying to think of ways to use random number generators to give me the first letters of peoples names and was getting all confused!
Where can you find people's numbers?

I like the idea, but this did cross my mind. But then giving names to PM seems so... contrived almost. It's not genuine. You're doing it because you have the name and you need to PM them.
I think this is a fabulous idea maybe for the happy christmas one you could say pm 5 members you dont know to wish them happy chrsitmas that way people are less likely to pm the same people because there are bound to be some really well known members who loadss of people end up pm'ing!!

Instead of allocation, you could get each person to name 5 members (that they don't know, otherwise everyone would just pick their mates) and tell Heidi or someone else, then if one's already been said she could ask them to pick someone else?

Go onto a person's profile and look at the URL. Such as mine, which is u=9449 (:
I think the easiest way of having the 5 christmas messages sent would be if people could PM me their list of 5 members that they don't know and I'll get back to them if any of their 5 are on someone elses list.
Because if I do the random number thing then it could well be a member who's not been on for months. This way I think less known but still active members will get PM's as much as more well known members.
