I am currently:
Planned SI,possble trigger

I went without SI for almost 2 years,
then I relapsed, and at times it almost was as bad as when I first started doing it

almost everyday 4 months ago

I would fight hard and sometimes I would go weeks without it

but every time I fell, I really fell

so over the past month
I have managed to try something I have not done before

I try to go at least a week without SI but after a week I don’t really fight it, I don’t try think about it though but if I get pressured hard I just SI

and so for the past 30 days I have SI 4 times all a week apart
and I SI today

my therapist told me she does not recommend this but as long as she is not getting calls from the Hospital and I keep it under-control
she is somewhat ok with it

we do plan to improve this in the future but that’s were I stand right now

I was wondering what you all thought of this

up to this past month I have had the idea of fighting as long as I could till I fell, but its more of a planned thing and steady thing now

its hard to say if life is a sad thing or a joy
because some look at it as rainbows and flowers
and some look at it as graves and funerals
because the horrible things will happen
but the great things will happen
it seems are attitudes define it more then the roads we travel
all I know is that I could look at is as a curse or a blessing
ether way its my choice to be positive or negative.

Is your plan to SI once a week?
I'm kind of confused...
I think that any reduction in the amount or severity id a good thing. If SIing once a week helps you keep away from worse things then maybe that is what you need to do. I'm in no way saying it is okay though. It's going to feel easier to know that once that day comes you'll be able to do it with a "clear consciounce". Maybe start with the once a week then do one every week and a half then 2 weeks and try to get bigger and bigger periods between them.
Sorry if I'm way off.
If you need to PM me anytime<3

I understand what you mean and I think it's alot better than doing it everyday or more frequently.
Do you think you could reduce the regularity to once every two weeks and gradually wittle it down that way? Because if you can fight the urges for the rest of the time I think you can fight them ALL the time. You are perhaps psychologically training yourself that it's ok to SH at this time of the week so you can train yourself to do it less.
I think it's quite positive actually.
