its a normal human defence response to mentally "Shut off" or "block out" stuff that we cant deal with at the time. i have segregated parts of myself, more than i can count which hold the things i dont remember from my abusive childhood.
definetely talk to your therapist, bring it up in the most comfortable way for yourself.

You can also say something like, "This past week I've been troubled by some thoughts I've been having" No doubt will she ask "What thoughts?" or something of that nature. That can segway into talking about things. :) Good luck honey. *hugs*
