I think I've always been doing it. Looking back I can't remember a time when I didn't SH. I just changed tools the older I got, and the SH gradually grew more extreme as new stresses were introduced into my life.
I can't remember exactly how old I was. I only started cutting a few years back but I used other way of SH from when I was 11 or 12. I can't actually remember not SHing
I started when I was 13.
I remember I partly started as a punishment for eating. And I also started because I was upset over my friend. She had tried to kill herself right in front of me twice.
The moment you feel like giving up, remember all the reasons you held on for so long.
I cut for a few months to a year when I was maybe 10. I stopped for awhile, did it occasionally when I was 11, Then stopped again. It got bad when I was 12 and 13, then I stopped again. Now 14, and it's coming back for me. Seems like most people's stories are: tried it for a bit, then stopped, then started again and it became a common thing.
About 12 years old, I am 20 now. Always been a cutter and go through phases of strangling myself sometimes and hitting my head. Nothing that hasnt already been said though im sure
I have been cutting since i was 7, i know thats a bit young and i dont even remember why i started i only remember seeing my sister do it who is alot older then me. i didnt know it would be come an adiction.
I was 14 when I started cutting. But when I looked back into my past, I realised I'd always hit my head or slapped myself of whatever, and I often, and still do, make very snide or sarcastic comments enough to get a friend to slap me or hit me or whatever, so I kinda always brought it on myself even if I didn't actually do it myself...
Started cutting when I was 15, it was when I was in Year 11 having to deal with GCSE's as well as near constant bullying and stress at school. It carried on for about a year or so then I stopped until this year (now 21) - since then it's gotten really bad.
11. it seemed like a good idea at the time. (:
it doesnt scar for long really, even though i feel like I should make it.
cus im not "hardcore"

Cutting since I was about 12, maybe 11. . . I'm now 14, almost 15 and I'm stopping
Now that I look back on it, I've always done stupid things hoping to get hurt by them, so I'm not really sure when that started
