Hello everyone, the name is Starlightembers - but you may call me whatever you please, no matter how random or ridiculous the nickname may seem to most members (On a Twilight forum I was given the name 'Cupcake' once). I'm not picky when it comes to what I'm known as, and don't really think it matters.
I'm a pre-teen female stuffed away in small town New York, who yearns the smells and (rather loud) sounds of the city every morning she wakes up. I'm not afraid to speak my mind and tend to be rather stubborn when it comes to debating subjects I feel strongly about (ranging from homosexuality to the American justice system.) I'm all for forgiveness, and believe it's impossible to hate people you don't know that well - though, you may loath their actions.
I spend my time web designing, coding computer programs that are of no use to most any person, in addition to writing rather frequently. Music is my therapy and main outlet, the thing I can always connect with. In my darkest hours, when plans were written out, I found the band My Chemical Romance - who I am proud to say allowed me to save my own life. (I would say they saved me, but I'm way too stubborn for that. Haha.) If you don't like the music I do, please respect that; I respect your views, so please give me the same option.
As of current I'm self-harm free, no longer force myself to puke, am sober, and I'm clean. Nobody in real life, except one close friend who didn't find out until recently (I had to tell her - she had come out to me that she was self harming and getting high off pills, she told me 'You don't understand how hard it is, though I wish you did'; so I gave her my trust in return for hers), knows about it all. I'm here to keep from relapse, and in the end, see if I can help at least one other person. At least one.

That's a very interesting post. :) I'll just call you Starlightembers.. tis easier for me ;) I agree with you on forgiveness... it is impossible to hate people you don't know what well. :) Good point! That's interesting (web designing and coding computer programs) I'm a total computer dumbo and I don't know anything about them lol. I love MCR (My Chemical Romance) they are the best band ever :) I respect your views (even though I like the same band ;) ) I'm glad to hear you're self-harm free and don't force yourself to do any of those things. It can be hard to tell people about your past but it's good that you have a friend you can relate to. I hope you recieve the help and support you need. :)

Firstly congratulations on getting yourself away from all those methods of self-destruction, it must have taken and be taking a lot of strength as did telling someone about it and I really hope that RYL can be another avenue of support to help prevent you relapsing> It's really great to meet you, you sound like a really interesting person to talk to. I've just been to New York by the way, (I thought I'd just add that in! ) and I thought it was amazing! Manhattan is the only place I haven't gotten lost in lol!
