Haleperidol? (anti-psychotic)

I may be being changed to this drug on Monday, as i am coming off olanzapine gradually, as its not helping too much. I was just wandering of others experiences with the drug, and did it help?
I may have to be hospitalised, because the risks may increase whilst the change over is occurring.
Any support?

Just wanted to say my friend is on Haloperidol and it's the only AP that has helped him, although like Mimi he does have to take tablets to help with the side effects.

Hope the changing meds goes well.
