Avoid creepy guys 101

So Soph had an incident this morning with a creepy smelly old guy at the bus stop. So I thought I would make this thread to help others in this situation.

Firstly the obvious solutions:

1: Go stand near another person at the bus stop

2: Go to a nearby shop, look busy

3: Open a book and pretend to read (do NOT make eye contact)

4: Listen to music and pretend no one else is around

Okay now for the not so obvious ones...

5: become a tree. failing this, stick your arms out and pretend to be a tree. Will have the bonus of being great exercise for your arms and making the creepy guy think you're crazy.

6: start giggling. This drives random people bonkers. Just giggle like something is hilarious. To make this more effective, start gesturing like you're talking to someone, pause, then laugh louder then before.

7: hide under the seat at the stop.

8: cover your eyes. Every body knows if you cover your eyes that no one can see you.

9: kick creepy guy in the shins and then run away (only reccomended if you're very fast)

and last but not least

10: do a nakey run.

How about simply acting like a maniac. Just scream and wave your arms and jump about and shout nonsense words, stop for a moment or to, look around and then continue again. That might work too.

i couldnt stand near someone or go to a nearby shop because there's not many people around at 7:15am nor are there many shops open. i didnt make eye contact. i would have listened to music except my ipod died just as i got to my first bus stop :(

become a tree... well the girls at my school did used to have the nickname of trees because of our uniform..

You could serenade the creepy, smelly man. That could work too.

i honestly didnt want to be anywhere near him but i was too scared to move! next time i see him at the station i'm going to go to the bakery- about the only place open at that time. not only will i get comfort food but i can sit somewhere well lit!

Buy a baguette from the baker's shop and challenge them to a duel!!!

hahaha! no. eat it maybe but i'm not one for creating a scene. i'd rather blend in to the backgroud which was what i tried to do this morning. unfortunately it didtn work too well.
maybe he was looking at me because i was wearing a skirt which is a bit above my knees.. but he was looking at another woman on the bus too and he had a good look when she look off her jacket.
