Just bumping this thread to remind people that the draw for the Charley Bear raffle takes place a week from now, so don't miss out. We're not out to screw every last penny out of the Membership but, if we can make a little bit out of this, it'll help us cope with the next crisis with the server (without which [u]nothing[u].)

And, so you know, not any huge numbers of tickets have been sold yet, which means that your chances of winning are a good deal better than on the lottery (though we are of course very grateful to those who've had a go so far}.

I think Harley may be declaring a special "bonus bracelet" for those who buy £5 or more of tickets ...

We look forward to hearing more from you all!

Sorry, Fringe and Just a Girl, it was never intended that we'd acknowledge every single ticket bought - grateful as we are, life is a bit short!

But I will discuss with James whether we publish a list of those whose tickets are entered before the draw is actually made (guess who'll end up typing it out!)

As I keep trying to emphasise on here, we don't cheat - though being only human we do make the odd mistake ... (which we always try to put right).

Tony, I was meaning about the free bracelet thing, wasnt sure if it would be backdated to include those that had already bought tickets -/

Tickets arent being posted out to people, just being entered into a computer draw...

the site cant afford to send out tons of tickets to people buying them *shrugs*

Everyone who buys a ticket or tickets will have them entered in the draw but it would be unnecessarily expensive to send them to all those buying them. No- one will be left out and no-one will be cheated.

The more orders you have, the greater your chances of winning him! :)

Another wee bumpity (as they might say in the Far North) to remind people that the raffle takes at midnight on Sunday 6th April, UK time.

If possible, we'll list the site names of all those who have bought tickets and who'll be entered in the draw - but I'm going to be in the hands of James and Harley regarding this.

I'm also going to suggest to Harley that after it's all over we announce the amount it made for RYL. It won't be big bucks but it'll help keep the wolf from the door for a bit. And we'd like to stress how grateful we are to all those of you who've entered - many of you have very little money and are being most generous in taking part at all.

Meanwhile, Charley Bear is sitting on my desk looking a bit worried - rather like a dog who knows you're going on holiday but can't work out just how it'll affect him. I do keep reassuring him but I suspect he's worrying about future rations of hunney.

And there's still time to buy a ticket if you haven't done so already ... !
