Suicidalness from stopping the pill suddenly?
BAsically I was getting migranes from my contraceptive pill.
So i was told to stop it immediatly.
I normally ge t a bit depressed with PMT, but nothing like this.
I mean, I cut today for the first time in AGES.
& i just want to die.
Could it be to do with the pill?
It's hit me out of nowhere.

It could be your body trying to adapt to not having the hormones from the pill. Any hormonal changes affect you while your body adapts and gets things leveled out again.
With time this should ease up. If it doesn't then go to your doctor again and see what he/she can suggest.

Due to the way it affects your hormones it is possible for a sudden withdrawel to make you feel suicidal.
You should speak to your GP to see if they want to take you off slower.
However, do please try to stay safe. Remember that this will pass.
Take care

see if there's an alternative. for me, i can only take microgynon and dianette (not for contraception) because its to control another condition.
both of them have the ability to make me depressed and it was during my first month on dianette i started si, and the breaks and mini-recoveries came in my time off the pill (coincidentally i'm sure you'll agree!!), and now im off the pill im off si, i did have a lapse into depression when i went back on the pill for a few months, so i saw my GP (first time for depression) and got off pill and on meds. mand x
