when people are suicidal and want to harm themselves all the time, does it mean that they have a disorder?

Only a doctor can say that because for some people it is and for some it isn't and it can depend on other things to. If you are suicidal you really need to tell someone who can keep you safe or go to hospital. Take care of yourself sweetie

^ good advice above. anyone feeling suicidal should seek help from professionals, even though that's easier said than done sometimes.

suicidal feelings are a symptom, not a disorder, therefore someone who is suicidal and self harms may have a diagnosable disorder or they may not. xxx

Hmmm, it can mean they have a disorder/illness such a depression ect ect but being suicidal/wanting to harm yourself isn't a disorder in itself I don't think. xx

id talk to your dr.

but being suicidal doesnt mean you have a disorder.
if you are feeling bad talk to family/ friends, the supporters here, dr etc
