Respite any info would be really good right now.

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone can tell me what happens when the police and respite nurses are called into your house hold?

My therapist is threating it because she is pretty certain that i am in crisi mode and she isn't sure how long i can hold our from injuring my self or overdosing again.

I am really scared and assured her that i would be ok, mostly because i am terrifyed of what respite nurses do and what will happen to me when one comes into my home, like what is it like what happens how long does it last for??

please any info would be really helpful.

thankyou
kind regards,
shivs

i dont really know anything about it,but i hope someone on here can help you.
i think respite nurses would be like what the crisis team do over here in the uk,like seeing you through a crisis, but in a more intense way, like spending a lot more time with you, trying to help you through whatever ***** youre going through, and coming out the other side unscathed....
i only heard about this kinda thing once, with someone i know with an ed,who had respite called in,but it could be completely different for you.

I think the police would only be called if you were refusing to go to hospital if it was deemed necessary. You'd be taken to hospital under a section 135.

If you get referred to a crisis team, it's where a CPN or a social worker will visit you in your home to make sure you are okay and talk things through with you.

Isn’t it funny how day by day nothing changes but when you look back, everything is different…

you once called your brain a hard drive, well say hello to the virus.

PM me if you want a PDF copy of the ICD-10 or the Mental Health Act 1983/2007. I ALSO HAVE THE DSM-V BOOK and am a pharmacology student.

I have a visual impairment / neurological problems so I need people to type in clear text and no funny fonts. Also excuse any typos, my vision blocks things out.
I have autism and have problems communicating, PMs included.
Just becasue I type well doesn't mean I speak well. I am only part time verbal.
