I need a new job in Edinburgh asap
I cant stand another shift in McDonalds... I think I just made an official complaint about a manager for talking to me like I was dirt...

so yea, anyone in edinburgh know of anywhere that is recruiting?? or anyone know of any good places to look online??

looking online, most jobs need relevant experience, but im going to take note of some job refrences and go in tomorrow


im currently debating with to hand in a resignation letter to mcdonalds tomorrow or wait and see how wednesday goes...

yea...I hope I get something soon, Im so overdrawn, need to buy a pc (which will almost max my overdraft and I still need to see if I can get my tuition fees paid next year due to course change...)

and I live about 10 - 15 minutes by bus from the city centre, but its close enough!!

You might want to try looking in your local paper for jobs aswell.

When writing your cover letter you have to make them aware that the skills you've learned at McDonalds (eg. customer service skills, handling money ect.) are adaptable to whatever position your applying for. Really sell yourself.

and yea, but then, term is over, and the only jobs they had were for the uni canteen...

When I was job hunting, there was a few little shops in Bruntsfield looking for staff. You could try there, although those positions may have already have been filled.
Also, gift shops on the Royal Mile. They'll be getting stupidly busy now because it's approaching the festival so you could try there.

I did get treated like ****
made to swap shift to do a DA close myself never having done DA before, no training... and then shouted at by a manager for saying I didnt want to clean the toilets... and working 1.5 hours late and over 7 hours with no break

will see how wednesday goes, but I so so badly need a new job =/
