Triggering (SI/OD) - Advice really..

I need some advice. I'm really suffering at the moment. I don't feel like im functioning properly and im so depressed I could kill myself. I work full-time, but it is killing me. I don't know if I should take time off work or not?
What do you think?
I'm scared incase my employeers are going to be really pissed off at me, and/or i loose my job. I don't mean to be awkward for them, just im going to have a nervous breakdown or just kill myself.
Help?

thank you, Lily, for saving mummy's life*.
You are my one and only, you can wrap your fingers round my thumb and hold me tight, and you'll be alright.

If your job is causing you more harm then good, then its a bad idea to keep working, at least full time.
Why not talk to your empolyers?
Have you been to a GP?
If you have, then perhaps tell your GP about it, so they may be able to assist, perhaps by writing your employers a note?

Hope this helps.

Yeah, I recommend you have some time off. Explain to them that it's for "personal reasons" and give yourself time to relax. It just means that, when you go back to the job, you'll be refreshed and able to do it a lot better. They can't stop you from having time off.

I work full time and am depressed also, so I know how hard it is. Employers aren't allowed to sack you while you are on the sick, at least in the UK anyway. I've recently been off sick for a month, for a different reason though, and I was worried that I would get demoted, but apparently they are not allowed, as long as you are not off for ages and ages that is.
