College advice please.

ok. All my plans have gone abit belly up. i cant do the course i want to do which is childcare and i cant do A levels this year because its to late, because i started the childcare course. I dont know weather i want to go back to college but if i dont i was thinking about something in IT. Does anyone have any ideas or know about the different parts of IT coz i dont have a clue. Childcare to IT is a bit of a switch…off the top of my head roles include networking, systems administration, software development (analysts, architects, designers, testers, DBA's), project management and sales.

IT can be hard to break into, especially without experience or a degree. Do you have any IT experience at the moment? Or an idea what you want to do?

I am doing a Applied IT A level and I hate it....lots of writing...comparing, analyzing, evaluating documents is what were doing...

I have a feeling you can start courses in January at some colleges...

I'm doing childcare. it's a shame you can't do it!
There are lots of jobs about in IT and it is a highly saught after qualification. Maybe you could look at what different IT courses they offer at your colleges?

I am currently in 3rd year of a business IT program. I am not sure what school you are talking about, if you PM me the name i can do some research and summarize what the different streams incorporate and what jobs you might get once you graduate.
