I am rediculously attracted to the Joker as portrayed by Mr Heath Ledger.
The Joker is my favourite ever Batman villian, but I was never hugely attracted to the comic book character or Jack Nicholson's portrayl of him.
Heath Ledger... well I never saw the attraction there. He's just not my sort of guy.
But mix the two together and all of a sudden I have a huge crush on the guy.
Something tells me this is a bigger issue than all my other 'problems' put together.
But still... why so serious?
Oh I know what you mean... I don't know why, but I find him horribly attractive too. Even with that Glasgow smile of his, and the greasy green hair.. I don't know how he managed to make himself look attractive, when by rights he shoulda been hideous..
I've been to see Dark Knight 3 times now Katie just because I can't get enough of Heath's Mr. J! I will probably go tomorrow as well to cheer myself up. It's just a fantastic characterisation that creates an incredibly hot character!
I especially love him dressed as a nurse...the curse gets worse...
In attempting to rationalise this bizarre infatuation, I'd have to pin it down to two key points: one would be the slight sense of kinship as a self-harmer with someone scarred, there is a sympathy there. I say this here because you may understand it, whereas I think a lot of my friends would find it odd because they are such different injuries.
However, the main reason I think is his complete self-conviction. His total assertion of his will over all else is pretty damn sexy! He isn't worried about what others think of him because he has already decided what it is that he wants and it transcends such mundane niceties as 'the approval of others'. He seems in control at all times and this makes him very charismatic!
Don't know what your take on that would be...But it's great to see someone else shares the love!!

I'm always amazed how he can be so evil and do really horrible things and not care one bit because it's all one big joke. And, as creepy as this makes me and I'm sure I need help, it's just damn sexy.
Y'know. I might try and go see this at the IMAX. I really wanna see Mistah J close up.

I don't think Heath being alive would make the Joker less sexy - if anything it would make me more optimistic and hopeful of seeing more! It's frustrating that the story necessarily ends there because it would be great to have more of him. I'll admit that it probably adds a slightly mythical air to the role, but really there is a lot more to it than hype!
I'd quite like to see them try to re-cast him tbh.
I don't know if anyone could do as good a job as Mr Ledger did, but the Joker certainly has the most interesting storylines of all the Batman villiain imo with the constant to and fro between him and Batman, that and I'd love to see how Nolan slides in some of his other accomplices.

Although I am also holding out hope that somehow Two-Face survived that fall and he'll be back to. He was always interesting, and I was awed by the special effects in the film.
Heath Ledger was Incredible as The Joker, I can completely see where you are coming from-he is such a dynamic, interesting and challenging character put together with an actor with amazing talent. Why so serious-bril!

After I went to see the film me and my family were dicussing how great Heath was as the joker and I blurted out; I thought he was really hot
