Triggering (SI/Suicide) - she will never talk to me again.

my best friend of 16 years just told me she needs to disconnect from me...for a while....she had been a memeber of ryl for a while than canceled it and was lurking to keep an eye on me because i wasnt talking to her....or anyone other than on here and she was worried...she said she needed to work on her and seeing me hurt was only making things worse....i cant live without her...how am i supposed to do this?

how is this helping the situation..i never wanted to hurt her.....

I can imagine how hurt you must feel after this. Have you managed to speak to her and find out why this has happened? I'm sure that she knows you didn't mean to hurt her - knowing someone we care about deeply is selfharming can be upsetting for them because they care so much. Do you think this is what's happened in your case?

we talked in person today thats when she told me we couldnt talk anyomore. she knows about my SH and she said it was hurting her seeing me hurt, and she just couldnt do it anymore....
i am so stupid for putting her through this....
