I am currently:
Trazadone (Adult Girly)

Ive been on this for a while but the last couple of months I have had my dose increase to 300mg. They are really working and I'm scared to say anything in case the doctor changes my meds again but I've been getting some weird side effects. Firstly when I wake up there are like silver lines around everything as I move which makes me feel dizzy. Second is a bit embarrasing and I don't know how to explain it. In simple terms I'm getting the effects of sexual arousment without being sexual aroused. Just wanted to know if these could be serious, has anyone has similar. What are your thoughts

But I being poor have only my dreams, I have spread my dreams under your feet ; tread softly as you tread on my dreams.

We are all in the gutter but some of us are looking at the stars.

I've been on it since March..so not too long, also 300mg but i really have seen none of those side effects. The only problem i have with it..it needs to be upped again.... 2 300's and 2 50 1/2 50' mgs and and im stll up 1.30 AS like ususal..i need a dosage change. I usually now stay awake till anywhere form 3-10 AM.

I know it's embarassing but could you tell your doc? Or even write down, they are SO used to letters; just as soon as he walks in, hand it to him.
I'm KNOW how embassing this will be, but better to ease your mind right??
Good luck, let us know how it goes ok?

Doctors have to learn about these things in uni, they've lost the ability to treat girl problems as a funny thing because they all had to go through gynaecology tutorials. So don't be embarrassed in telling him.

PM me if you want a PDF copy of the ICD-10 or the Mental Health Act 1983/2007. I ALSO HAVE THE DSM-V BOOK and am a pharmacology student.

I have a visual impairment / neurological problems so I need people to type in clear text and no funny fonts. Also excuse any typos, my vision blocks things out.
I have autism and have problems communicating, PMs included.
Just becasue I type well doesn't mean I speak well. I am only part time verbal.

I know clomipramine has sexual arousal as a side effect in about 5% of users, which is a lot better than the anorgasmia or reduced libido of a lot of other antidepressants, so it's predictable that trazodone will do something on that front too. As other people have suggested, just tell your doctor and they should be able to do something about it.
