Triggering (SI) - G/F is observent

she has noticed my bandage covers most of my forearm now and this morning she something about no more of this..this being SI i just dont know what to do. she is under the delusion thati aint SI-ing at all i try to bring it up but based on the fact that she "cant watch another person destroy their life" and the whole if i dont get better then she doesnt think that we will make it thing then i darent talk about it. then shhe talks about supporting decisions that i make and that she is here for me i just dont know what to do or how to even start. im sorry for all the posts just stuff changes from day to day.

She obiously isn't being suportive of you. You need her right now and if she can't do that for you she dosen 't care about u as much as you thought she did.
I think you 2 need to talk about this.

Hi pyschodarko,

Does your girlfriend know/understand the reasons behind your SI? It can be very difficult for someone who loves you to see you this low and feel helpless. Also, she may worry that talking about it will trigger you or she'll say the wrong thing. So maybe writing her a letter about these things or showing her this thread would open the way up so you can discuss this better? Take care and good luck,
