Few days ago , i've told the psychotherapist that i see hallucinations on daily basis & hear voices rarely .
He looked rather worried and said that i need to take meds , i didn't give it much thought at that time i was in a good mood , but now my mind is all over the place and i'm very worried what would this mean ? Why did he look worried =[ I want to know what the hell is wrong with me but i won't see him for the next 3 weeks , even if i have an earlier appt i don't think i can have enough courage to ask him ...
I'm scared and feeling very worried i need a hug =[

There are similarities between bipolar and schizophrenia (for example both can experience psychosis). There is also a disorder called schizoaffective disorder where more symptoms of both disorders are presented. Have a look at the diagnostic criteria for all of these, it may help.
I'm not sure what he may be thinking. It may be the nature of the hallucinations, the frequency with which you experience them or something like this that may be worrying him.
Please, try to calm down (easier said than done I know) but all of these conditions are managable. Remember that you are not alone through this and take care of yourself x
The symptoms you describe can also be a symptom of psychotic depression and Borderline PD as well. I would see if you can speak with him sooner. You'll also need to see your dr at some point to sort out medication.
Thank you for the replies guys so much *group hug*
I'm trying not to panic about it but the hallucinations just won't stop :(
I've lived with it for a long while now i don't know why am i scared of it and freaking out just now !
I used to think that cause the way the hallucinations looked ( lights , shadows , ropes , spots , some weird objects mostly ) i thought that ok , it's not normal for any one to experience it but why should i get worried? I'm not seeing people or anything like that .
But today as i was searching about it for the 10000 times i noticed that the identification of it included an example that described exactly the same things that i see ! I don't know how did i miss this line , i've read about it loads before idk , may be this is way i'm panicking now =[ it seems so real .

Im type 2, but apparently have had delusions.. Im not saying you're wrong though.
I checked it out because I don't want to give you any wrong info.
To be diagnosed with Bipolar 2 (not Bipolar 1), you have to have had at least one hypomanic episode. If you're manic, then it's not Bipolar 2.
One of the criteria for hypomania ----- The episode is not severe enough to cause marked impairment in social or occupational functioning, or to necessitate hospitalization, and there are no psychotic features.
