The Enemy.

Yo.

I've probably already made a post about these guys, but they are so f*cking good that they deserve another. They deserve many because I love them and hopefully some of YOU love them tooooo.

The album ('We'' Live and Die in these Towns') is one of the best albums of this year, and is a fantastic debut album.
They're from Coventry and if you go to Coventry train station (you'll probably see me wandering round) there's a MASSIVE advert for the album which I will steal and use as a blanket because it is big enough.

The album is one of three that made my summer back home bearable.
The singles off the album are wicked, but tracks like 'This Song' and the album title track are amazing. They will make you cry, but probably if you're from a place that's boring and has nothing going for it..sort of like where I'm from. It's why the album means a hell of a lot to me. The songs are easy to connect with.

I'm seeing them on Sunday in Birmingham and I am stupidly excited. I really really cannot wait.
I will probably cry like a baby when they play 'You're Not Alone,' especially at a certain part. Such a beautiful song.
They're supporting Stereophonics next month.
They're doing the NME Rock&Roll Riot Tour this year with Lethal Bizzle and The Wombats, only a few dates left though.
I know Birmingham (the Sunday date) isn't sold out yet.

Yesterday, in Sainsburys my mate had a little dance and sing-sing in the fruit section to 'Away From Here' is was amusing, and I suggest you all do it because it's good fun.

Anyway, The Enemy are the best British band out there right now because they have something valuable to say..so bloody listen!

xxxx

They are playing Birmingham on my birthday.
I'd go, but I really can't stand Stereophonics.

Their album was played a LOT in work over the summer. Mainly because it could have been written about our town.
Hah.

I've seen them, I do like them,I'll happily have a dance around to them, and turn them up on the radio and stuff, but I wouldn't rush to get tickets for them, but if I did see them again, great, if you follow...

That means they've released my two favourite songs off the album!
They have to release This Song, just because the video to that could be amazing!

These dates are being released tomorrow, but shussssh.

Manchester Apollo- 19th March
London Astoria- 28th and 29th March
Coventry Ricoh Arena- 5th April.

Tickets go on sale THIS Friday at 9am.

I'm thinking the Coventry one will be rather special (and expensive damnit!)
