Boots Scar Reduction Pads

about A6 size sylicone pads, that are supposed to reduce scarring in 90 days. They're actually really good, ive been using mine for just 6 days now on scars from about 7 months ago, and they've already faded quite a bit. Ive tried bio-oil and coco butter before but they never worked so this has been really worth the money.

I thought it would be impossible for the pads to work as my scars were quite thick, raised red lines but now theyve faded loads! which is great, so thought id pass the mesage on.

The pads cost £20 for two but if you ask me its worth it.

Keep smiling everyone XxX

I have read that they are very good for flattening scars, I have never had the money to buy them but I have heard mixed views.

You made up your mind to torture mine!
If you read a scar like a book, you will relise the story in which you over look
red ribbons were weaving
upon the young girls skin.
a trail of red weaved deep,
caused by pain from within

They are quite expensive, but definitely worth it. id read a few reviews that said they were quite good, but didnt believe them... till now. they've faded so much! If you can save up enough to get them, i definitely recomend them

It says each pad lasts for up to 60 days or something and to keep them on for about 12 hours a day. Ive had mine on for 6 days now and theyve already faded! which is cool, so i guess you just keep them on untill they've completely faded to white lines

Aww hun, dont cry! lol. Ive tried loads of things too but non of them worked. You might want to get old of a bangade or something to help keep it on. ive been using a wrist support bandage thingy lol. The gel pads are sticky, but they can come off quite easily so u really need something to keep them on.

Let me know how it goes, i hope they work! dont give up after 5 days if they dont tho, it might take different lenghts of time for different skin, i dont know.

I feel that way, as i quote "our scars remind us that the past is real"
In a way i dont want to get rid of my scars, but then i want to go into clinical psychology which is a type pf nursing so i cant go around with thick scars on my arms.

Yeah, dont get me wrong, l dont have an issue at all with your reasoning, l was just stating my thoughts.

I dont think l would be bothered if a psych had scars, l guess it would just come under 'experience'

How many pads do you get? Just one or what?

paper dreams; You get two pads in Boot's version, which are about A6 size.

Nici; Those are made by Elastoplast, theyre the same but lots of small ones where as Boots are two large pads which you can cut to size.

I had trouble finding them in my local Boots store and the staff were really un-helpful but they should be in the Pharmacy area, not in the skin care of plaster section like i thought...
