epilim
Has anyone been on epilim before? Due to significant weight gain from zyprexa my pdoc is taking me off it in the hope of then switching me to epilim. I don't know why but I feel scared about going on it but can't put my finger on why..
has it helped anyone? what were the common side effects?

Honestly it didn't help me. I had no reaction to it. I was on 2000 mg and i didn't even have side effects. It was like taking a sugar pill.
However i do know many people who it's worked really well for. They wouldn't prescribe it if that didn't think it would help.

gets up at 7.30am feeling just plain terrible.

I have dyslexia so please excuse my poor spelling and sometimes poor understanding.

I was on it, I *think* I took 700mg twice a day but I really don't remember!
I was on it about a year. No major side effects, it helped a bit to regulate my moods and helped me sleep.
|
Isn’t it funny how day by day nothing changes but when you look back, everything is different…

took first dose last night and I had no side effects yay:) but **** the tablets are big!!!

thanks auror and these tablets are bigger than seroquel and its a circle too:(
I am not having issues with swallowing them but was suprised when I saw how big they were..

You can get epilim in liquid if you need to, I took it that way.
|

I didnt know that. I have now been increased to two 500mg tablets so will see how that goes but is nice to know I can get it in liquid form if I need it. thanks.

How are you finding it?
Clearly just seroquel is different to yours Carmen mine is tiny.
But yes I remember now epilim is big (and purple?). I had no side effects except I strangely lost my appetite!

yeh I have noticed that I rarely get hungry on it Aimme:) so a big tick for that one!!! and yep it is purple:):):)

I havnt noticed any real changes yet but then I know meds can take several weeks to have any real affect:(
