want to start a new life!

Hi there, I recently lost my job, vehicle and in some serious debt. All due to alcohol. I went through treatment and I have been sober now for a year and want to start a new life. Any advice? I feel I`m stuck and going no where.

Congratulations on being sober for a year now; that's a great achievement!

Maybe finding a new career would be a start? Maybe something that's not too high-pressure, if you feel like stress contributed to your alcohol problem. And what about a hobby? Taking on new things, meeting new people could help with building up a new life for yourself :)

Wow well done for being a year sober. I have no idea how hard it was but I bet it was very difficult so you should be proud of you.

When you say a new life, in what aspect? Like whole new life like move house, new job. And when you have money a new vehicle.

Or maybe try and see if something catches your interest in education to try and get a different line of work?
