My gf might have cancer

I found out the other day that my girlfriend might have thyroid cancer that is spreading. She is going for a biopsy next week and we are both terrified. My mom said its the most curable type of cancer IF they catch it in time...... She's had a lump on her thyroid for a few years. She's also had symptoms for a while now. She is also having major issues with her teeth. She has an infection that made her cheek swell to 3x the normal size within hours. She's at the dentist now and I am hoping they pull a tooth that has been hurting her for a while now and has just been getting worse. I'm spending the night at her house tonight. I am just so afraid. They said the chance of her not having cancer is 10%. What if it's spread too much? what if they can't do anything? I can't lose her :(

I don't know what to say because nothing I say is going to make you feel better right now but I just wanted to let you know I have read and I completely understand that is just how I felt and what I was thinking when I found out my grandma had cancer. It is really frightening but remember there is so much which can be done now and people beat it all the time. My grandma had an extremely aggressive form of cancer but thanks to some really intensive treatment she just got the all clear. I know it's hard but try to stay positive.

Her biopsy showed that she has precancerous cells in her thyroid. She has to go see an Ent oncologist. I'm so thankful we have answers...I just hope the oncologist does something.

It sounds like they've caught it early, so hopefully she'll have a really good chance of beating it.
