Last week I saw a program about crows and will never see them the same lol. They are among the smartest of animals. They not only use tools but they use tools to get to tools.

There is a heron who lives on a lake near me and when people come to feed the ducks he snatches the bread and uses it for fishing. People often use the phrase bird brained to describe stupidity but it is my experience many birds are actually remarkably intelligent. We also get visited by a magpie who's worked out how to unhinge the bird feeder to steal the contents.
