6 Nations!

Another Rugby Union thread from Claire!

Anyway, point is, are people going to be watching? Who's your team? What are your predictions?

Talk to me about the rugby people!

Personally I can't wait for tomorrow's Calcutta Cup match, but I'm worried about the England team's lack of test match experience. But, I'm convinced the match of the weekend will be Ireland v Wales.

So, what do you guys think/do you even care?

ENGLAND!

Don't think we will win, but that's because of how new our team is...but who knows, only time will tell

A lot of people/nations have a lot to prove this tournament!
I'm sorry, but I really want to see Ireland do over Wales this weekend. I don't know why, I think it's a hangover from their loss at the World Cup.

To be honest, whatever happens I'm England through and through...
I'm glad people are excited about it, though!

Not going to happen! As it says in the song "Men of Harlech" "Welshmen will not yield".
Wales is going to kick dirty Ireland's arse.

Of the 6 nations I am rooting for England due to my heritage

I put everything behind Wales against France last Year against France in the semis last year, all for the want of a home nations team in the final, but when it comes down to it I'll always be England through and through.

Although, when it comes to premiership teams I'm always torn between Sale and Northampton (not glory seeking, my friend plays for Northampton Saints)

I've accepted that it's probably not going to be England's year, but we'll doubtless bring it all on. If France win the tournament my heart will undoubtedly break, though.

Bring on Murrayfield tomorrow!

I only hope that England can score more points against Scotland tomorrow than their batsmen have scored runs against Pakistan in the last 24 hours!

Scotland for today! Makes me sad that I have to start work at 5 and so will miss the whole bloody thing! I couldn't even swap the shift :(

Overall, I'd like to see Scotland do well, although I don't think they'll win. They have one of the best teams of recent years (now minus Paterson), but they just aren't clinical enough, and their tactics have been more about the almost guaranteed penalty points rather than attempting tries.

After Scotland, I'd probably go for Wales.

Just to everyone knows, there is a queue to get at Richie Gray and I am at the front of it.
